General Terms and Conditions for Events Organised by Deutsch-Chinesische Wirtschaftsvereinigung e.V. or D C W GmbH
Unless otherwise stated for the respective event, the following General Terms and Conditions apply to events organised by the Deutsch-Chinesische Wirtschaftsvereinigung e.V. or D C W GmbH:
Your registration for the event is valid after confirmation by Deutsch-Chinesische Wirtschaftsvereinigung e.V. or D C W GmbH (hereinafter: DCW). The request for payment contained therein, if applicable, is due for payment immediately and in full. If your payment has not been received in DCW's bank account no later than 14 days (7 days for online events) before the date of the event, your registration may be cancelled by DCW. Cancellation of registered participants is possible free of charge up to two weeks before the date of the event. In the event of later cancellation, the full fee will be charged. If a participant is unable to attend, a substitute from the same company may attend after consultation with the DCW office.
DCW is not liable for accidents/damage caused to participants and/or their relatives as a result of participation in the event. The liability of other companies and institutions remains unaffected by this.
We would like to point out that photographs, films and sound recordings or recordings of online events will be made during the event. Insofar as your personal rights are affected by the photo, film and sound recordings or recordings of online events, by attending this event you grant DCW the right to use the recordings in the context of DCW association communication in all media without any restrictions in terms of time and place.
By registering for an event, you acknowledge the data protection notices of DCW at www.dcw-ev.de/datenschutz and, in cases of online events, those of the operator of the online seminar software, for example Zoom (zoom.us/privacy) or ClickMeeting (clickmeeting.com/en/legal), and consent to the processing of your personal data in accordance with these notices.
You agree that your personal data collected when registering for this event may be stored and used by DCW for the purpose of organising and managing this event and, if necessary, may also be passed on to the other co-organisers of the respective event. The above information regarding data protection remains unaffected by this. This consent is required for participation in the event. Furthermore, you agree that DCW may use your personal data for the purpose of sending information and event notices by e-mail. You can revoke the above declarations of consent at any time with effect for the future, insofar and as long as the storage and processing of your data is not necessary for the organisation of the event (Section 6(1)1a,b GDPR). You also have a right to free information about your stored data and, if applicable, a right to correction, blocking or deletion of this data.
DCW reserves the right to cancel the event at any time without giving reasons or to organise it exclusively as an online event. If the event is cancelled, all advance payments will be refunded. If the event is organised exclusively online, attendance tickets will automatically be converted into online tickets and the difference will be refunded.
Claims for damages are excluded. German law applies exclusively. The place of jurisdiction is Düsseldorf, Germany.
